Paris [France], April 19 (ANI): The Cannes Film Festival has announced three Indian films in its official 2026 selection — two features in the Un Certain Regard section and one documentary in a sidebar programme.
The line-up includes Payal Kapadia’s narrative debut “Nowhere a Home,” an untitled Malayalam film by Kamal KM, and “The Silent Archive,” a documentary on Partition-era oral histories by Shaunak Sen.
Festival director Thierry Fremaux said the selection “reflects the continuing range and ambition of Indian cinema beyond its biggest industries.” The festival runs May 13-24. (ANI)
